2010 - Bollenback Builders was recognized with a 2009
Presidents Award from the Metal Construction
Association.

This national award
recognizes the installation of the metal panels
on the recently completed ISPC office building in Odessa, FL.
The 7,200 Square Feet of 0.020” of Copper Penny
colored Aluminum panels provide a sleek, strong
vertical surface to convey stability and
strength. During the pre-construction phase of
this project, Bollenback Builders suggested the
use of these panels as a value engineering idea
– saving the owner over $300,000. This building
was also awarded the People’s Choice Design
award from American Institute of Architects.

- Bollenback Builders began construction of the Aging
Well Center at the Long Center.
This 10,000 SF Project for the City of Clearwater, FL
will be a “one stop shop” for in-house amenities that
promote health and wellness, education, recreation and
creative expression.. It will also provide links to
partner agencies that support citizens health and
quality of life. |

October 30, 2009 – Grand Opening
of the Arthritis and Rheumatism Associates facility.
Bollenback Builders
announces the completion of a new medical office
building. This 15,000 two story MOB includes exam rooms,
laboratories, infusion rooms, physical therapy suite, X-
Ray and MRI capability. And extensive analysis of power
backup capacity was conducted to ensure medical and
safety requirements were met while minimizing the
expense of the backup generating system. The small site
area required the installation of underground storm
chambers to accommodate the storm water storage
requirements.

February 22, 2009 – First United
Methodist Church of Homosassa – Consecration Ceremony
The staff of Bollenback Builders celebrated
along with the entire church congregation during the
Consecration Ceremony to open the new Fellowship Center
recently completed by Bollenback Builders. This new
17,000 Square Foot facility includes a complete
auditorium with professional grade stage, lighting and
sound systems. There is also a large commercial
kitchen, thrift store, youth center, library and several
meeting rooms.

January 16, 2009 - Bollenback
Builders announces the completion of University
Corporate Park Phase 2.
University Corporate Park Phase 2 includes a
total of 80,000 Square feet in two buildings. Tilt wall
construction was used to save time and money in the
construction of these flex space shell buildings in
Tampa, Florida near the University of South Florida.
Bollenback Builders is also completing the tenant build
out of the first building for an Eye Clinic for The
Department of Veterans Affairs.

January 9, 2009 - Bollenback Builders
announced the completion of the 93,000 Square Foot Concrete
Products Manufacturing Facility for Adam Products Company in
Dunn, NC.
This fully automated facility has the capacity to produce over
40,000 blocks per day – enough to build an entire Super Wal-Mart
every day. Adams Products is a Subsidiary of Oldcastle
Architectural Products Group – One of the largest construction
materials manufacturers in the Country. This is the 8th
Manufacturing Facility Bollenback Builders has constructed for
Oldcastle and their subsidiaries.
January 2, 2009 – Bollenback Builders
announces groundbreaking on a new Medical Office Building for
Gabash, LLC in Clearwater, Florida. This 15,000
square feet 2 story facility includes Exam Rooms, Physician
Offices, an MRI suite and laboratory space. The compact site
near downtown requires specialized underground storm water
retention.
December 18, 2008 - ISPC Ribbon Cutting

The
ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly completed
Independent Savings Plan Corporation (ISPC) new
corporate headquarters was held December 18, 2008. The
42,000 square foot facility incorporates several green
building concepts including Solar lighting and water
heating, low e glass and a completely insulated building
envelope.

March 11, 2008 - North Ward Elementary Donation
Ken Bollenback was on hand to award two
bicycles donated by Bollenback Builders to two students with perfect attendance at the North Ward Elementary School in
Clearwater, FL. Principal Sandra Cowley said the bikes are a
great incentive to students and parents to improve
attendance. North Ward Elementary is celebrating its 100th
anniversary this year.

March 10, 2008 -
University Corporate Park
Bollenback Builders began work on
the University Corporate Park project in Tampa. This
project includes 13 acres of site work and two tilt wall
buildings totaling over 80,000 square feet. Expected
tenants include a 22,000 square foot eye center for the
Department of Veterans Affairs.

March 2, 2008 - Bollenback Builders
participated in the dedication ceremony
Bollenback Builders participated
in the dedication ceremony for the new Christian
Education Building at the Keystone United
Methodist Church in Odessa, Florida. This 7,000
square foot building includes classrooms,
offices and meeting rooms. The new building was
integrated with an existing building and a new
porte-cochere was constructed to connect the two
buildings.

March 1, 2008 -
Bollenback Builders was presented with a Horizon Award
Bollenback Builders was presented
with a Horizon Award Project of Distinction by the
Association of General Contractors at an awards ceremony
at the TPC Sawgrass Club House in Ponte Vedra Beach,
Florida. The award was for the Oldsmar Galleria project
– a 62,000 square foot four story mixed use development
that includes retail, office and luxury condominiums.

December 1, 2007 -
Adams Products Company Block Plant
Bollenback Builders was selected as
the General Contractor for the new Adams Products
Company Block Plant in Dunn, NC. This 42 acre site
includes a 93,000 square foot manufacturing plant that
will produce standard concrete masonry units (CMU block)
and specialty architectural block. There are also
material handling systems and a retail store. Adams
Products is a subsidiary of Oldcastle APG. |
